Yellowstone National Park
A Virtual Tour

The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River is basically a river eroded geyser basin. The canyon, in its present form, dates back about 10,000 years. The main attractions are the Upper and Lower Falls. One of the most impressive sights is the multi-colored walls of the canyon. The multi-hued rocks are evidence of hydrothermally altered rhyolite.

This is a virtual tour of the North and South Rim area of the canyon.
